The Vemedia Group is a leading company in self-care medication, health products, pharmaceutical ingredients, and insecticides with activities in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Spain and Portugal. Besides Vemedia exports to Greece, Austria, Scandinavina, Sout-Africa and Brazil.
On the one hand, the Vemedia Group sells high value-added products, both house brands and third party brands, to pharmacists in Belgium and to chemists and pharmacists in the Netherlands. On the other hand, the Vemedia Group is specialising in the production of tablets, film-coated tablets and capsules in bottles or blister packs as well as in the production and dosed packaging of liquids and ingredients for officinal and magistral formula through its subsidiary Vemedia Manufacturing B.V. and its division ABC Chemicals.

Vemedia B.V. is a sales & marketing organisation that sells high value-added products of both house brands and third party brands to chemists, pharmacists and (within a legal frame) supermarkets in the Netherlands.
Vemedia Manufacturing B.V.
Vemedia Manufacturing B.V. is specialising in the production of tablets, film-coated tablets and capsules in bottles or blister packs and the packaging of powdered products in sachets, as well as in the production and dosed packaging of liquids. Vemedia Manufacturing B.V. makes its own products under the Vemedia Group brand as well as products of third parties.
Distributie Care B.V.
Distributie Care B.V. was created in 1991 and is a sales & marketing organisation for brands in the Dutch food supplement market. The range of products consists of some twenty brands which each have a significant market share or are market leader in their category. The most important are Glucon, Melatomatine, Meno totaal, Prosta totaal, Phital-gamma, Garlic Vitaal and Ginkgo combi.

Following the take-over of ABC Chemicals and Axopharma, Vemedia S.A. is now specialising in dosed packaging, analysing and selling of pharmaceutical ingredients for the preparation of magistral formula at the pharmacist’s and offers a range of products that is fully tuned to the Belgian market.
Methapharma
Methapharma was founded in 2003 and develops high quality food supplements (nutraceuticals). Methapharma is present in the Belgian market since 2005 with glucosamine-products such as Osteoplus, Glucactiv and Chondractiv for a fluid articulation. After some time, Benypro was launched for the prostate and Attental for ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder), dyslexia and concentration problems.
