CEO of Vemedia Pharma, pharmacist (RUG) and cosmetology (VUB), determines the strategy and is the driving spirit of the company. He is also in charge of Business Development (product development, developing new markets, looking for third party distributions, etc.). Furthermore he was one of the founders of Omega Pharma, but has no substantial interests anymore in the company. Omega Pharma is now quoted on Euronext Brussels.

COO of the Vemedia Group, has years of experience in the field of consumer products as general manager, sales manager and marketer. Until recently, he was still Vice President International Accounts for Sara Lee/Douwe Egberts where he had final responsibility for the Household and Bodycare activities of Sara Lee in the Benelux.

Vice-President Business Development, studied political & social sciences as well as history (University of Amsterdam), and attended several management courses (such as INSEAD). He started his career within the pharmaceutical industry in 1975 at the company formerly called Boots Company Holland B.V, which he left in 1987 as Vice General Manager. As of that moment he has been in charge of the daily management of Vemedia, where he continues up till today to create a steady growth. Since January 2001 he is President of Neprofarm, the Dutch Association of the Pharmaceutical Industry of Self-Care Medication and Health Products. He also has a seat on the Board of the AESGP, the European umbrella organisation of national industry associations.

Jean-Yves De Vel,

CFO of the Vemedia Group, he started his career in 1991 as an auditor and became Investment Manager with Gimvindus in 1996. After having graduated from the KUL as a commercial engineer, he still took a postgraduate course in tax law (Ehsal) and obtained an executive MBA (Vlerick). From 2001 till 2007 Jean-Yves was Corporate Finance Director with PricewaterhouseCoopers where he was in charge of Mergers & Acquisitions, buy-outs and other transactions.
